We’re still taking telemedicine appointments and welcoming patients who feel comfortable visiting our office. We are also still fairly new, as we announced our new center name in March. The Center for Podiatric Care and Sports Medicine includes a brand new office, which is now home to even more foot and ankle specialists. We also offer our advanced, state-of-the-art technology treatments. If your foot and ankle pain require a little more than one visit to our office, here are some of the advanced treatments that can help with your pain and discomfort.

Tenex for pain

  • This advanced treatment is used to treat tendon pain in your tendon, foot, or ankle.

  • Minimally invasive, this technology targets and removes damaged tissue; this eliminates the need for surgery and reduces chronic tendon pain.

  • This development was developed in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic.

SWIFT® for warts

  • This technology uses microwave energy to treat tissue that has been impacted.

  • The energy is delivered through a special probe that is applied to the skin. There is minor discomfort, and most people say the pain is similar to an injection or a scratch.

  • You may need more than one treatment, but it depends on how you initially respond to treatment.

Laser therapy for nail fungus

  • This treatment is easy, convenient, and painless. Most patients need 1-3 treatments.

  • Laser therapy can help change your discolored toenails to clearer and healthier nails.

  • Benefits include no anesthesia, no toxic medication with dangerous side effects, and no recovery time; the treatment is painless.

The Center for Podiatric Care and Sports Medicine also offers foot fat grafting, which helps to restore volume in the feet and reduce pain.
