Choose The Best Shoes

When it comes to sports, there are different uniform and equipment requirements depending on which activity you partake in. But what about your shoes? Choosing specific sneakers for whichever sport you play will give you the best results when it comes to keeping your feet pain-free. That’s why they make basketball shoes, baseball shoes, swimming shoes, and so on. Take a look and see what you find!

Avoid Sweat

At least when it comes to your shoes and socks! Letting your feet sit for too long in damp, dark environments is a recipe for foot odor and fungal infections. Stay clear of both by changing your socks often and switching out your sneakers every day.

Ease Into It

Playing too hard, and too fast is a recipe for disaster. Instead, take it slow and gradually build up your speed or intensity. This is especially true for those looking to incorporate a new workout, trick, or motion into their routine. Easing into things will help prevent injury.

Hit Pause

Listening to your body is the best thing athletes can do. If you’re experiencing pain in your feet or ankles while being active, it’s important to hit the brakes, sit down, and rest.
