  • Keep your feet clean, especially between your toes. Dry them thoroughly after washing.

  • Trim toenails correctly by cutting them straight across.

  • Keep your feet as dry as possible. Powders can help prevent moisture.

  • Change socks often, especially after sweating.

  • Wear shoes or flip-flops in public areas like pools, showers, and locker rooms.

  • Always use your own towels and personal care products.

  • Wear properly fitting shoes that have good air circulation.
